Motorcycle Ministries Contemporary Worship Service, Sunday Nights, 7 PM at Oak Grove UMC. Fellowship prior to and immediately after. ALL ARE WELCOME!!

READ THE BIBLE IN 2013, Pastor Ray is challenging us to read the Bible in 2013. For daily readings visit "The One Year Bible Online.Com".

Youth Group, Next "Regular" Monday Night meeting will be Sept 9th at 6 PM.  There will be other events thru out the summer.

Choir Practice, Wednesday Nights, 6 PM at Oak Grove UMC (Chapanoke).

Bible Study, Wednesday Nights, 7 PM.  We will discuss the scripture and sermon from the Sunday morning service.  NO BIBLE STUDY THIS WEEK.

Food collection for the needy. There is a box in the entrance of our church for your donations. Non Perishable Food, Clothes, Shoes, Video Games, Yard Sale Stuff.

New Member Welcome and Pastor Ray Farewell Supper, Sunday, June 9th, 5 PM, here at Oak Grove UMC.  Invite your friends and neighbors.  This is a Chicken and Steak Dinner, with all the fixings.  Don't miss it.  ALL ARE WELCOME!!

Youth Summer Camp is June 10th – 15th. 

North Carolina Conference UMC Annual Conference, Wednesday-Saturday, June 12-15, Greenville, NC.  Please be in prayer for our state Annual Conference.

Perquimans County Mobile Food Pantry, Thursday, June 13, 5 PM, at the old Harris Shopping Center. Between the Fire Dept, and the railroad tracks in Hertford. Come out early to help setup and volunteer to hand out the food.  WE NEED EXTRA HELP THIS MONTH.

Singspiration, Sunday, June 23, 9 AM.  Join us for another service of music by our favorite local singers.

Admin Board/Planning Meeting, Monday, Jun 24th, 7 PM, here at Oak Grove UMC. Please come out and help us to plan events to grow our church in this community. ALL ARE WELCOME

Lawn Mower Pull Concessions, Saturday, June 29, 4 PM - Till, at the New Land Track in Morgan's Corner.

New Pastor Welcome Supper, Sunday, June 30th, 5:30 PM.  We wish to invite everyone to come out and meet our new Pastor, Rev Roger Cope and his wife Joy.  Come at 9 AM and hear his first sermon with us, and at 5:30 PM for supper and fellowship.  This is a Pot Luck Supper, and you know you can't get any better food than here at Oak Grove UMC.

Public Servant Pancake Breakfast, Saturday, July 20, 7-10 AM, here at Oak Grove UMC.  A show of Appreciation for all Fire Fighters, Police, Sheriff, Rescue, and other people that are on the job, helping all of us when we are in need.

Christmas In July, Sunday, July 21, 9 AM, here at Oak Grove.  Let's celebrate Christmas all the year round.  Join us for music and readings celebrating the birth of our Lord Jesus.
